landscapes

Originally from the Outer Hebrides, I often return to the islands to visit family and friends. The journey by car takes me through the breathtaking, rugged scenery of the Isle of Skye—a route that never fails to inspire. Over the past couple of years, I’ve begun creating landscape art based on photographs I’ve taken along the way, using oil pastels to capture the spirit of these wild, beautiful places. This is a small selection of pieces inspired by the natural beauty of the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Skye.
